Welding cast

Post by Ray on Sun Sep 28, 2008 11:13 am

So who out there can weld cast for me?
The front sprocket housing was smashed when the master link broke in the feature race but I think it could be welded if any body can or knows some body who will?
it holds the cluth push cyl and is only flexing a little in its broken state but if we were to weld the 2 other peices into ti i am sure it will be OK to use

Other wise some one with a busa not being used in there shed !!
May lend me the cover for next weekend
it will be returned to you in a un broken state as the chain problem comes from my lead foot and the way i was down changing and sliding into the corners

Will order another any how but have My doubs as to wether it will be here before next fri

Cheers Ray

Here is what has been happening to the Master links
3 times in total now and all have been exactly the same
not the clip fail as one would expect

Gotta get me a stronger chain so I can wreck the gear box instead
