Post by Kevin 07 Wed Sep 10, 2008 4:36 pm

I think it would be a good idea if we all introduced ourselves here so we all become one big happy family, particuarly for the benefit of new users. Don't be shy, only registered users can view the forums here.

Something like this;

Hi I'm Kevin, it's been 167 days since my last drink.......oops, wrong meeting.

Hi I'm Kevin, I'm an Aries, I like long walks on the beach and romanti.......damn, wrong forum.

Hi I'm Kevin 07, I have no buggy. Crying or Very sad but I will have soon santa.
I live near Wanneroo
I work for MSA who manufacture PPE and sell it to the mines.
I live and breathe buggies at the moment.

Cheers,
Kev

Hey Connor, we warned him didn't we!

HI! I'm Camel! But you can call me Camel.

Unlike Phil, I have a handbrake! And she blessed me with lots of kids.

One day, when I grow up, it'll be a fucking miracle (again, according to my handbrake).

I like nothing more than to make stuff that does stuff. Or, if it doesn't do stuff I like to render it inoperable, forever, violently.

I work in health and safety.

I hate my fuckin job.

Haha! That's why I'm a consultant. It's even better, I tell people what it is that they're not doing so they can do even less of it!

BTW, in health and safety, doing nothing is a survival strategy. When you try to do the right thing you get sacked. It took me a few jobs to learn that one. Problem is, I can't keep my big mouth shut, usually when speaking to CEOs and managing directors. I like to think I'm learning that lesson too.

Post by Ray Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:07 pm

Mmm long story short
I am self employed concreter contractor and my wife ( God Bless Her ) told me I needed a hobbie
After many years of constant arguing about the facts
I kept telling her she was not going to like my Hobbie I bowed down too the pressures from above and got one
A Hayabusa powered Barracuda
Needless to say now my wife dosnt like this Hobbie much and my bank account has been rattled alot since then

Still waiting for the day I can tell her "I told you !" must be getting close now I reckon

She was warming to the idea untill last Northam meet and a couple of the newbie barracudas were causing her alot of concern about how fast they were going. Cause I dont drive fast but gotta keep up hey Twisted Evil
Now I have to listen too the saftey garble every time I go near the shed and think Buggy
Ohh yea and Lou you didnt help at all Smile

Cheers Ray

Post by smithy Thu Sep 11, 2008 11:00 pm

Hi my name is Ian Smith, that’s Smithy to all of you

I’ve come from England in search of good buggy racing events. I’m living on a farm in the middle of nowhere 2 hours north of Perth.

I have two women in my life, one lives in the house with me and the other one sleeps in the garage. Both women are constantly in need of my time and attention and think they own my wallet. Both are very noisy, the one that lives in the house nags constantly about the one in the garage and the one in the garage turns on its zx14 purr to annoy the one in the house. These two women don’t really get on that well, I believe its something called jealousy?
Shocked

Mate, I hate to say it, but you can't have two women that know about each other. Each will try to bump the other off. I know it's entertaining but it will end in tears; yours. I know it sounds poofy, but you should have given it a bloke's name!

My name if Aaron and I am a bean counter

have recently made the move from public practice to commerce, and am working for an interesting group of companies.

anyway I am building a sv1000 piranha, and truth be told mainly because my place doesn't rear access for a car. (will still need to take of the suspension arms and knock down the fence to get it out of the backyard). hopefully getting closer to finished, any day now Smile

I have had a couple of mates say that I should build a ramp and jump it over the house....hrmmm

or hire a crane....$$

or get a bunch of mates around and lift it over the fence....I can foresee backs being damaged!
